Investigation of Novel Isatinylhydantoin Derivatives as Potential Anti‐Kinetoplastid Agents
ChemMedChem, Volume 20, Issue 1, January 2, 2025.A series of isatinylhydantoin derivatives were synthesized and investigated for antileishmanial and antitrypanosomal activities in vitro and in vivo. The derivative 5 was identified with higher leishmanicidal activity than the clinical drug amphotericin B while 4b was uncovered as in vitro trypanocidal hit against T. congolense parasite.
