Palladium-Catalyzed Carboxylative Coupling of Allylstannanes and allyl halides [PDF]
A three-component carboxylative coupling between allyl halides, allylstannanes, and CO2 to produce allyl esters is catalyzed by Pd and Pt phosphine complexes.

Vector-meson contributions do not explain the rate and spectrum in K_L -> pi0 gamma gamma
We analyze the recent NA48 data for the reaction K_L -> pi0 gamma gamma with and without the assumption of vector meson dominance (VMD). We find that the data is well described by a three-parameter expression inspired by O(p^6) chiral perturbation theory.

Cerium(III) Chloride: A Highly Efficient Reagent for the Synthesis of α‐Aminonitriles [PDF]
We report a highly efficient, one‐pot, three‐component condensation of carbonyl compounds, amines, and TMSCN in MeCN; the reaction is significantly promoted by the catalytic amount of cerium(III) chloride at ambient temperature in excellent yields ...

Isocyanide based multicomponent reactions of oxazolidines and related systems [PDF]
N-Alkyloxazolidines react in a multicomponent reaction with carboxylic acids and isocyanides to give N-acyloxyethylamino acid amides. The previously reported reaction conditions were improved using a design of experiments approach (DoE).

Water formation at low temperatures by surface O2 hydrogenation II: the reaction network
Water is abundantly present in the Universe. It is the main component of interstellar ice mantles and a key ingredient for life. Water in space is mainly formed through surface reactions.

An efficient synthesis of functionalized spiropyrrolizidine oxindoles via a three-component tandem cycloaddition has been achieved. This strategy can provide direct and rapid access to spiropyrrolizidine oxindoles in high yields (up to 99%) with ...

The mechanism underlying backward priming in a lexical decision task: Spreading activation versus semantic matching [PDF]
Koriat (1981) demonstrated that an association from the target to a preceding prime, in the absence of an association from the prime to the target, facilitates lexical decision and referred to this effect as "backward priming".
