Molecular Characterisation of Orf Virus in Goats From Eastern Türkiye. [PDF]
This study provides the molecular characterisation of Orf virus (ORFV) strains circulating in Türkiye. Phylogenetic analysis of F1L, B2L, and VIR genes reveals high genetic similarity with Asian and global isolates, highlighting the importance of multi‐gene analysis in monitoring viral outbreaks and understanding disease origins.

Low-energy Electron Collisions with Gas-phase Thymine Molecule
The paper presents an investigation of the negative ion formation of the thymine (T) molecule. The formation of negative ions by electron impact of this molecule is measured.

IntroductionThymine auxotrophic in vitro mutants of Escherichia coli were first reported in the mid-20th century. Later, thymine-dependent clinical strains of E. coli as well as other Enterobacterales, Enterococcus faecalis and Staphylococcus aureus have

The contribution of thymine--thymine interactions to the stability of folded dimeric quadruplexes [PDF]
The loop of four thymines in the sodium form of the dimeric folded quadruplex [d(G3T4G3)]2 assumes a well-defined structure in which hydrogen bonding between the thymine bases appears to contribute to the stability and final conformation of the quadruplex.

A mutant of uracil DNA glycosylase that distinguishes between cytosine and 5-methylcytosine
We demonstrate that a mutant of uracil DNA glycosylase (N123D:L191A) distinguishes between cytosine and methylcytosine. Uracil DNA glycosylase (UDG) efficiently removes uracil from DNA in a reaction in which the base is flipped into the enzyme’s active ...

Spectroscopic Evaluation of Novel Adenine/Thymine-Conjugated Naphthalenediimides: Preference of Adenine-Adenine over Thymine-Thymine Intermolecular Hydrogen Bonding in Adenine- and Thymine-Functionalized Naphthalenediimides [PDF]
The synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of novel nucleobase (adenine/thymine)-conjugated naphthalenediimides (NDIs), namely, NDI-AA, NDI-TT, and NDI-AT have been successfully achieved. NDI-AA, NDI-TT and NDI-AT have similar absorption in the 300–

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.
