Dual-tip-enhanced ultrafast CARS nanoscopy [PDF]
Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) and, in particular, femtosecond adaptive spectroscopic techniques (FAST CARS) have been successfully used for molecular spectroscopy and microscopic imaging.

In the 15-mer catalytic core of 10-23 DNAzyme, each residue contributes to the catalytic conformation differently. Here, the critically conserved T4 and the least conserved T8 were modified on their 5-position with hydroxyl, imidazolyl, and amino groups ...

Platinum(II)–dithiocarbamate complexes with phosphines: Synthesis, characterization and precursor for Pt nanoparticles using ultrasound assisted method [PDF]
The reaction between Na2[PtCl4] and thymine bisdithiocarbamate (tdtc) in a 2:1 molar ratio (Metal:Ligand) produced a square planar complex called [Pt(tdtc)2]n (1).

Photoinduced Formation Mechanism of the Thymine–Thymine (6–4) Adduct
The photoinduced mechanism leading to the formation of the thymine-thymine (6-4) photolesion has been studied by using the CASPT2//CASSCF approach over a dinucleotide model in vacuo. Following light absorption, localization of the excitation on a single thymine leads to fast singlet-triplet crossing that populates the triplet (3)(nπ*) state of thymine.

Low-energy Electron Collisions with Gas-phase Thymine Molecule
The paper presents an investigation of the negative ion formation of the thymine (T) molecule. The formation of negative ions by electron impact of this molecule is measured.
