The tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily in lung cancer immunotherapy: Therapeutic opportunities and challenges

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
TNFRSF members orchestrate a dynamic immunoregulatory network in lung cancer by coordinating co‐stimulatory and inhibitory signaling across immune cell populations, highlighting their potential as targets for precision immunotherapy. Abstract Immune checkpoint blockade has fundamentally reshaped the therapeutic landscape of lung cancer.

Global Fluoride Toxicology Landscape: Bibliometric Approaches and Scientific Mapping

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study analyzed research trends in the 100 most‐cited articles on fluoride toxicology, a topic widely debated due to the toxic effects associated with levels deemed safe for human exposure. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using the Web of Science‐Core Collection, extracting data such as citation count, authors, keywords, journal ...

Effects of Tributyltin Chloride on Human Neuronal Differentiation and Mice Brain Development

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT According to the developmental origins of health and disease hypothesis, perinatal exposure to an environmental toxicant during the development of the nervous system could cause a permanent cellular modification that may promote the appearance of neurodegenerative diseases at an older age.

Haematopoietic stem cell transplantation outcomes for teenage and young adult patients with acute leukaemia: A British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy registry study

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Teenage and young adult (TYA) patients undergoing allogeneic stem cell transplant have distinct psychosocial needs, yet they are poorly represented in research and their outcomes are not well understood. This study uses prospectively collected data from the British Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BSBMTCT ...

Limited roles of the miR‐17‐92 cluster in the regulation of T‐cell apoptosis

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
The pro‐apoptotic protein BIM shapes T‐cell survival and function, but how it is regulated remains unclear. In a mouse model lacking direct miR‐17‐92:Bim interactions, we observed a moderate reduction in Th17 CD4+ T cells. BIM levels were modestly increased in double‐positive thymocytes and naive CD8+ T cells, but this did not affect overall T‐cell ...

Quantitative analysis of DNA‐GATA1 binding alterations linked to hematopoietic disorders

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Native holdup allows the quantitative determination of affinities between full‐length transcription factors and DNA. Mutations in either the protein or the DNA can modulate binding strength, which can be precisely quantified using this approach. Applied to GATA1, it revealed mutations that alter DNA binding.
