ImmunoPET imaging of TIGIT in the glioma microenvironment

open access: yesScientific Reports
AbstractGlioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary malignant brain tumor. Currently, there are few effective treatment options for GBM beyond surgery and chemo-radiation, and even with these interventions, median patient survival remains poor. While immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have demonstrated therapeutic efficacy against non-central ...

Tumour progression shows decrease in PD‐L1 expression in matched metastases/primary uveal melanomas

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, Volume 104, Issue 2, Page 164-172, March 2026.
Abstract Purpose Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have revolutionised the treatment of several malignancies. However, the results of ICI therapy remain unsatisfactory in metastatic uveal melanoma (UM). We analysed the expression of PD1, PD‐L1, T‐cell and macrophage markers in a set of matched primary and metastatic UM in an attempt to better ...

The Functional and Prognostic Impact of TIGIT Expression on Bone Marrow NK Cells in Core Binding Factor-Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients at Diagnosis

open access: yesBiomedicines
Background: The effect of the expression of the newly identified immune checkpoint, T cell immunoglobulin and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif domain (TIGIT) on NK cells in core binding factor-acute myeloid leukemia (CBF-AML) remains to be ...

Single‐Cell Dissection Reveals Immune Dysregulation After CD5 or CD7‐Directed Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.
Single‐cell RNA/TCR/BCR sequencing reveals that 5CAR therapy in T‐ALL induces T‐cell exhaustion, reduces EBV‐associated TCRs, lowers TCR/BCR diversity, and increases NK/DC/monocyte activation and function. In contrast, 7CAR therapy reduces multiple pathogen‐associated TCRs, enhances NK cell activation and function, decreases monocyte activation, and ...

Safety and Efficacy of Adoptive Transfer of Stem Cell Memory Enriched Virus Specific T Cells against CMV and EBV

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 9, 13 February 2026.
This study finds that CD8⁺ TSCM cells exhibit superior self‐renewal, differentiation, and antiviral activity. Transcriptome and epigenome analyses highlight MAPK cascade regulation in TSCM cells. In vivo, virus‐specific TSCM cells show enhanced persistence and tumor protection.

Innovation and the environmental Kuznets curve: the case of CO, NMVOCs and SOx in the Italian regions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The paper explores the relationship between per capita income and three air pollutants, CO, NMVOCs and SOx, using a novel dataset based on the Italian regions.
