The dual role of TIGIT in regulatory and effector T cells in chronic liver disease
Background & Aims: Effective control of chronic liver diseases (CLD) requires suppression of effector T cells by CD4+CD25+CD127low regulatory T cells (Tregs).

Follicular regulatory T cells repress cytokine production by follicular helper T cells and optimize IgG responses in mice [PDF]
Follicular helper T (Tfh) cells provide crucial help to germinal center B (GCB) cells for proper antibody production, and a specialized subset of regulatory T cells, follicular regulatory T (Tfr) cells, modulate this process.

Update in TIGIT Immune-Checkpoint Role in Cancer
The in-depth characterization of cross-talk between tumor cells and T cells in solid and hematological malignancies will have to be considered to develop new therapeutical strategies concerning the reactivation and maintenance of patient-specific antitumor responses within the patient tumor microenvironment.

Background and ObjectivePersistent infection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and liver damage in immune active chronic hepatitis B (CHB) could be partly due to the overreaction of natural killer (NK) cells, including pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion and ...

Rorc restrains the potency of ST2+ regulatory T cells in ameliorating intestinal graft-versus-host disease [PDF]
Soluble stimulation-2 (ST2) is increased during graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), while Tregs that express ST2 prevent GVHD through unknown mechanisms.

Prognostic value of CD155/TIGIT expression in patients with colorectal cancer.
IntroductionThe interaction of CD155 with its ligand, the T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT), is being studied owing to its potential to act as a target in the treatment of various solid tumors. However, the relationship between CD155

IL‐2 Free Expansion of T Cells with Immunofilaments
Ratio and density of stimulatory αCD3 and αCD28 mAb on immunofilaments (IF) influence T cell expansion, cytokine production, and effector phenotype. Moreover, IL‐2 supplementation is not necessary with optimal performing IFs, which leads to simpler culture conditions, and negative side effects of IL‐2 supplementation are reduced.
