Study on the role of toll-like receptor 3 in RhD alloimmunization
[Objective] To preliminarily investigate the role of toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) in RhD alloimmunization. [Methods] Between January 10, 2018 and April 1, 2019, RhD negative plasma donors were recruited for active RhD alloimmunization. A panel of four RhD

Porous 3D‐printed titanium implants are made bioactive by integration with a supramolecular peptide‐hyaluronic acid nanofibrillar scaffold, without the addition of exogenous cells or growth factors. Uniform filling of the implant architecture promotes vascularized, spatially homogeneous bone regeneration, significantly enhancing osteogenesis throughout

From RNA to DNA: How Cargo Identity Reprograms Lipid Nanoparticle Architecture and Function
The evolution of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) spans from RNA‐LNPs, used in mRNA vaccines, to DNA‐LNPs, ideal for gene therapies. Emerging bionano architectures, decorated with DNA and plasma proteins, pave the way for advanced DNA‐based therapies that are more stable, targeted, and customizable.

Probing Cellular Activity Via Charge‐Sensitive Quantum Nanoprobes
A new quantum sensing modality detects shifts in zero‐field splitting caused by charge rearrangement with diamond nanocrystals in response to cellular activity. These electric‐field‐driven effects provide an alternative to temperature‐based interpretations, enabling real‐time, single‐cell readout of inflammation.

Detecting proteins secreted by a single cell while retaining its viability remains challenging. A particles‐in‐particle (PiPs) system made by co‐encapsulating barcoded microparticles (BMPs) with a single cell inside an alginate hydrogel particle is introduced.

Activation of Dendritic Cells by the Novel Toll-Like Receptor 3 Agonist RGC100
Toll-like receptor (TLR) 3 agonists emerged as attractive candidates for vaccination strategies against tumors and pathogens. An important mechanism of action of such agonists is based on the activation of TLR3-expressing dendritic cells (DCs), which ...

We have developed an intracellular crystalline polymerization strategy involving acid‐catalyzed imine condensation to synthesize COFs in lysosomes. The generation of COFs in lysosomes damages their integrity, activates iron species, and induces immunogenic ferroptosis, thereby enhancing antitumor immunotherapy.

A novel immunotherapeutic strategy combines injectable, adjuvant‐loaded hydrogels with externally controlled histotripsy to create immune‐priming sites within tumors. This approach generates millimeter‐sized immune‐activated lesions with flexible, patient‐tailored treatment scheduling, enabling precise immune activation through tumor ablation‐mediated ...
