alpha,alpha-Trehalase of Trichoderma reesei.

Canadian journal of microbiology, 1979
A simple adsorption and elution of the trehalase of Trichoderma reesei on bentonite increased the specific activity 70-80 times, with a recovery of 90%. This alpha,alpha-trehalase has an optimum pH of 4.4, a pl of 5.7, a Km of 3.1 X 10(-3) M, and a specific activity of 50 mumol/mg. min-1.

Kinetics of protein secretion in Trichoderma reesei

1996
In order to obtain knowledge of the protein secretion process in filamentous fungi, and to study the rate-limiting steps in protein production, we have developed methodology for measuring the kinetics of protein production and secretion by metabolic labelling in Trichoderma.

beta-Glucosidase production by Trichoderma reesei.

Applied biochemistry and biotechnology, 2005
The hydrolysis of cellulose to the water-soluble products cellobiose and glucose is achieved via synergistic action of cellulolytic proteins. The three types of enzymes involved in this process are endoglucanases, cellobiohydrolases, and beta-glucosidases. One of the best fungal cellulase producers is Trichoderma reesei RUT C30.

Cellulolytic and xylanolytic enzymes of Trichoderma reesei: Dissertation

1988
Enzymes hydrolyzing cellulose and xylan are important in the utilization of biomass in biotechnical processes. The work presented here concerns the cellulolytic and xylanolytic enzymes of Trichoderma reesei.Purification procedures, detection methods for the different components of the complex enzyme mixtures and some properties of the purified enzymes ...
