Modic Change Bone Marrow Neutrophils Are Activated and Degrade Cartilage Endplates
Activated neutrophils accumulate in Modic‐change bone marrow and secrete neutrophil elastase, which drives cartilage endplate destruction and releases glycosaminoglycans. This neutrophil–elastase axis links inflammatory marrow lesions to structural endplate breakdown at the disc–vertebra interface.

Experimental investigation of granule size and shape dynamics in twin-screw granulation
A twin-screw granulator (TSG), a promising equipment for continuous high shear wet granulation (HSWG), achieves the desired level of mixing by a combination of the appropriate screw configuration and a suitable set of process settings (e.g. feed rate, screw speed, etc.), thus producing a certain granule size and shape distribution (GSSD).

Recyclability of Polystyrene Bead Foams: Degradation Behavior over 10 Extrusion Cycles
This study investigates the multi‐cycle recycling of expanded polystyrene bead foam blended with virgin material. Material degradation is monitored by MFI, GPC, and mechanical testing. The results demonstrate that long‐term recyclability is feasible without progressive property loss, and that secondary high‐shear steps such as extrusion and pelletizing

ABSTRACT Cellular SiC/thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) components were printed via fused filament fabrication and impregnated with a commercial polysilazane. The pyrolysis process in an inert atmosphere converts the structure into a ceramic‐matrix composite through the polymer‐derived ceramics (PDCs) route.

Twin screw granulation (TSG) has been reported by different research groups as an attractive technology for continuous wet granulation. However, in contrast to fluidized bed granulation, granules produced via this technique typically have a wide and multimodal particle size distribution (PSD), resulting in suboptimal flow properties.

Quality by Design in Twin Screw Granulation
Granulation is often used as a size enlargement unit operation in various solid handling and powder processing industries such as pharmaceuticals, foods, detergents, catalysts, and particulate chemicals. Granulation helps to mitigate issues related to poor flowability, dust hazards, and powder segregation.
