Two-photon transitions in hydrogen and cosmological recombination
We study the two-photon process for the transitions ns --> 1s and nd --> 1s in hydrogen up to large n. For n2) likely do not reach the percent-level. For conservative assumptions we find a correction DN_e/N_e~-0.4% at redshift z~1160. This is numerically

Two-photon diffraction and quantum lithography [PDF]
We report a proof-of-principle experimental demonstration of quantum lithography. Utilizing the entangled nature of a two-photon state, the experimental results have bettered the classical diffraction limit by a factor of two.

Two-photon Rabi oscillations [PDF]
Rabi oscillations reflect the existence of a coherent superposition of two molecular eigenstates during the interaction of molecules with a strong, resonant electromagnetic field. This phenomenon is not restricted to two-level systems. We demonstrate its occurrence in a three-level system where the radiation induces a two-photon absorption.

Molecular design strategy to alleviate environmental interference on two-photon fluorescence probes
Summary: Electron donor-acceptor (D-A)-type molecules are the most widely employed two-photon scaffolds. Unfortunately, current D-A-type fluorophores suffer from serious solvent-dependent emission wavelength and brightness, thwarting their use for high ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

One- and two-photon scattering from generalized V-type atoms [PDF]
The one- and two-photon scattering matrix S is obtained analytically for a one-dimensional waveguide and a point-like scatterer with N excited levels (generalized V -type atom).

We discuss two-photon physics, taking for illustration the particular but topical case of resonance fluorescence. We show that the basic concepts of interferences and correlations provide at the two-photon level an independent and drastically different picture than at the one-photon level, with landscapes of correlations that reveal various processes ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Multipath Entanglement of Two Photons [PDF]
We present a novel optical device based on an integrated system of micro-lenses and single mode optical fibers. It allows to collect and direct into many modes two photons generated by spontaneous parametric down conversion. By this device multiqubit entangled states and/or multilevel qu-$d$it states of two photons, encoded in the longitudinal momentum
