Dual‐state and self‐oscillating wireless charging system topology for direct‐drive battery
A novel topology with bi‐stable controlling for wireless charging system is proposed. The innovation of this method lies in treating the coupler as a current transformer, which enables more direct and simpler controlling of the charging current. The advantages of the proposal are that a desired charging current can be directly output from rectifier ...

A reinforcement learning framework is constructed to handle the unknown dynamics and environmental disturbances and achieve the optimal control performance. Combining the reinforcement learning technique, we develop the reinforcement learning‐based finite‐time control strategy without the singularity issue, which exhibits good robustness and provides ...

A Soft Robotic Morphing Wing for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles
This study presents the design and hydrodynamic characterization of a soft wing for implementation on underwater gliders. Through hydraulic actuation, the soft wing deforms and adjusts its lift‐to‐drag ratio, which ranges from −70% to +10% with respect to a rigid wing.

Does Bistability Improve Swimming Performance in Robotic Fish?
This study asks whether bistability is a fundamentally useful feature of swimming mechanisms, or simply a tool to overcome actuation limitations. It quantifies the effects of introducing bistability into a simple bioinspired propulsion system with variable morphology.
