Determination of Fox grape genotypes (Vitis labrusca L.) grown in Northeastern Anatolia [PDF]
Northeastern part of Anatolia is a gene center of grapevine and a wide diversity of Fox grapes grow here. Viticulture and some grapevines in the Black Sea Region (in the north of Turkey) are on the verge of extinction; several types and varieties grown in this region have never been described and did not survive till present.

Concentration of grape juice (Vitis labrusca) by reverse osmosis process
The objective of this work was to evaluate the concentration of grape juice by reverse osmosis (RO). The experiments were carried out in two steps. First, three transmembrane pressures (40, 50 and 60 bar) and four temperatures (20, 30, 40 and 50oC) were evaluated without juice concentration.

Researchers develop advanced tools to study grapevine traits like berry quality and stress resilience. A 200K SNP array and high‐throughput phenotyping enable the identification of loci linked to berry shape, sugar content, acidity, and cold tolerance. Functional validation of genes such as NAC08 reveals roles in cold tolerance.

Thermal requirement and phenology of different cultivars of Vitis labrusca on different rootstocks
The knowledge of phenological stages and thermal requirement are important in vineyard management because provides information for production and quality of the grapes. This study had the objective to evaluate phenology and thermal demand of the grape cultivars Bordô, Concord, and BRS Carmem on rootstocks Paulsen 1103, IAC 766, and VR 043-43.

Roots of resilience: Optimizing microbe‐rootstock interactions to enhance vineyard productivity
Grape production relies significantly on agrochemicals, such as fertilizers and pesticides, to sustain vine health and yield. However, excessive or improper use of these inputs leads to detrimental environmental effects, including soil degradation, water contamination, and biodiversity decline.
