VSV G transport from ER to the cell surface.

open access: yes, 2014
(A–C) Cells transfected with plasmids encoding VSV G-EGFP were incubated at 40°C overnight. The cells were then shifted to 32°C in medium containing cycloheximide for various times, fixed and imaged by fluorescence microscopy to detect VSV G-EGFP.

Long‐read sequencing‐based atlas of tissue‐specific expression of DNM1L transcript variants

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Targeted long‐read sequencing resolves full‐length DNM1L (Drp1) isoforms and reveals conserved, tissue‐specific expression patterns across human and mouse tissues. Functional assays show that Drp1 isoforms differ in their ability to drive mitochondrial fission, independent of abundance, with specific exons modulating activity.

Replacement of HIV gp41 sequences with VSV-G sequences.

open access: yes, 2013
The VSV-G epitope tag was used to replace gp41 CTT sequences serially across the length of the CTT as indicated, from CTT1 to CTT14. The VSV-G epitope tag sequence is listed above CTT1.

VSV-CHIKV activates antitumor immunity by inducing pyroptosis in a melanoma model

open access: yesDiscover Oncology
Melanoma is the most dangerous skin cancer due to its difficulty in treatment, high recurrence rate and metastatic ability. As a vector for oncolytic viruses (OVs), vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) has been shown to be effective against malignant ...

Interferon-induced Ifit2/ISG54 protects mice from lethal VSV neuropathogenesis

open access: yes, 2012
Interferon protects mice from vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) infection and pathogenesis; however, it is not known which of the numerous interferon-stimulated genes (ISG) mediate the antiviral effect. A prominent family of ISGs is the interferon-induced

Proteasome inhibitor MG132 suppresses VSV replication and protein synthesis.

open access: yes, 2013
(A) Titration of VSV in MG132 treated cells. HeLa cells were infected with VSV (MOI = 1) for one hour with additional washing and incubated overnight. Medium from control VSV infected cells and VSV infected cells treated with 10 µM, 5 µM, 2.5 µM, and 1 ...

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1556-1590, June 2026.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

VSV-G-pseudotyped viral titers.

open access: yes
The recent discovery of Hepatitis D (HDV)-like viruses across a wide range of taxa led to the establishment of the Kolmioviridae family. Recent studies suggest that kolmiovirids can be satellites of viruses other than Hepatitis B virus (HBV), challenging

Detection of VSV proteins by mass spectrometry.

open access: yes, 2014
(a) Mean spectral counts per technical replicate for VSV encoded proteins detected in both whole virions and proteinase K (ProK) treated virions. (b) Location of VSV G protein peptides identified in both whole and ProK treated virions as indicated by ...

HIV‐1 establishes immediate latency in T cells expressing the viral Nef protein

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 6, Page 1132-1141, June 2026.
Nef is a viral protein often omitted from HIV‐1 reporter viruses. Consequently, its role in viral latency is unclear. We developed three novel dual reporter HIV‐1 derivatives that express Nef and allow for detection of latent and productive infection. Using these reporters, we show that Nef does not affect the establishment of immediate viral latency ...
