Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV) has emerged as a promising candidate for various clinical applications, including vaccine development, virus pseudotyping, and gene delivery. Its broad host range, ease of propagation, and lack of pre-existing immunity in

Abstract Background The rapid evolution of deep learning (DL), particularly the emergence of generative adversarial networks (GANs) has demonstrated strong potential for generating high‐resolution, voxel‐level dosimetric data. However, GAN‐based approaches have not yet been broadly applied to the generation of tissue‐specific dose voxel kernels (DVKs ...

Shaping Ti3C2 MXene Nanospheres for Precision Near‐Infrared Photothermal Therapy
In this study, we report producing spherical MXenes via fs laser fragmentation of Ti3C2 flakes in liquid medium. The nanoparticles demonstrated pronounced light absorption and high photothermal conversion efficiencies of 68% and 63% under heating with NIR‐I and NIR‐II lasers, respectively.

Identifying novel antiviral defences against VSV and HIV-1
Mammalian cells encode an arsenal of antiviral defences, which can be deployed following sensing of an invading pathogen. These cell autonomous defences are stimulated by interferon (IFN) signalling which activates the expression of interferon-stimulated

Pre‐Encoded IFN‐I Sensitivity Exacerbates Memory T Cell Senescence in Solid Tumors
Type I interferon (IFN‐I) signaling promotes p21‐dependent cell cycle arrest in senescent tumor‐specific memory T cells, resulting in poor proliferative responses and solid tumor regression during cancer vaccination. Conversely, IFNα/β receptor blockade reinvigorates T cell proliferation to regress solid tumors and is more effective with increasing ...

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

SiRNA-mediated knockdown of DDX24 inhibits VSV replication.
(A) Loss of mDDX24 affects VSV-luc replication in MEFs. MEFs transfected with ns, mDDX24 or RIG-I siRNA for 72 hours were infected by VSV-luc at M.O.I. = 0.1 or 1.

ABSTRACT Despite the transformative impact of cancer immunotherapies such as immune checkpoint blockade, durable clinical responses remain limited. Increasing evidence indicates that antitumor immunity is governed not only by the tumor microenvironment, but also by systemic immune regulation mediated by peripheral immune organs. Among these, the spleen
