PKM2 promotes reductive glutamine metabolism
Objective: Pyruvate kinases M (PKM), including the PKM1 and PKM2 isoforms, are critical factors in glucose metabolism. PKM2 promotes aerobic glycolysis, a phenomenon known as “the Warburg effect”.

Determination of the Exchange Current Density at Lithium │ Polymer Electrolyte Interfaces
This work presents a comprehensively validated method to determine the exchange current density (j0) at the interface of lithium metal and polymer electrolytes by combining electrochemical impedance spectroscopy with Bayesian inference and distribution of relaxation times analyses to successfully deconvolute solid electrolyte interphase and charge ...

The role of cellular oxidative stress in regulating glycolysis energy metabolism in hepatoma cells
Background The Warburg effect has been found in a wide spectrum of human cancers, however the underlying mechanisms are still unclear. This study aims to explore the role of cellular oxidative stress in relation to glycolysis and the Warburg effect in ...

In middle age, testicular CMKLR1⁺ macrophages exhibited a pro‐inflammatory immunometabolic profile, mediated by adipose signals associated with high BMI. However, inhibition of CMKLR1 signaling, either through Cmklr1 genetic ablation or treatment with a CMKLR1 antagonist peptide, can reverse this phenotype.

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

Cathode Electrolyte Interphase Engineering by Quaternized Chitosan for Stabilized Li–SPAN Batteries
In this work, quaternized chitosan (QCS) is reported as an additive optimizing the sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) cathode/electrolyte interphase (CEI). Its high positive charge density adsorbs PF6− anions, enriching the Helmholtz layer with aggregates. This promotes rapid anion desolvation, forming an anion‐derived CEI enriched in LiF.
