Interaction of norsecurinine-type monomeric and dimeric alkaloids with α-tubulin: a molecular docking study [PDF]
Aim: New microtubule-targeting agents are needed to improve cancer treatment. The recent characterization of the anticancer alkaloid securinine as a tubulin-binding agent prompted us to explore the interaction of related monomeric and dimeric analogues ...

Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

Reduction of acetylated α-tubulin in 5XFAD.
(A) Western blot of acetylated α-tubulin in the brains of both wild type (WT) and 5XFAD mice. Brain extracts were prepared from frontal cortex of 13-month-old mice. Actin is a loading control.

Paclitaxel Enhances the Innate Immunity by Promoting NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation in Macrophages
Microtubules play critical roles in regulating the activation of NLRP3 inflammasome and microtubule-destabilizing agents such as colchicine have been shown to suppress the activation of this inflammasome.

Perivascular matrix densification promotes the emergence of aberrant endothelial tip cells (ATECs) that invade and persist within fibrotic microenvironments. Using in vivo lineage tracing and a human microvessel model, this study shows that fibrous matrix cues destabilize VE‐cadherin–mediated junctions to gate TGF‐β signaling, inducing a pro ...

Isolation of functional tubulin dimers and of tubulin-associated proteins from mammalian cells
The microtubule (MT) cytoskeleton forms a dynamic filamentous network that is essential for many processes, including mitosis, cell polarity and shape, neurite outgrowth and migration, and ciliogenesis [1, 2]. MTs are built up of α/β-tubulin heterodimers,

SETDB1 is progressively downregulated in ALD, correlating with disease severity. SETDB1 deficiency impairs LAP by disrupting Rubicon membrane localization, leading to defective lipid droplet clearance. Concurrently, loss of SETDB1 reduces nuclear LC3B, causing R‐loop accumulation and cGAS‐STING‐driven inflammation. Lipidated LC3B mediates LAP‐dependent

Modulation of acetylated α-tubulin by Aβ and TBA.
(A) Western blot of acetylated α-tubulin in the rat hippocampal neurons. After being pretreated with Aβ (2 µM) for 24 hrs, cells were treated with TBA (5 µM) for 3 hrs and lysed with RIPA buffer. Actin is a loading control.

ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence suggests that the intestinal microbiota participates in the progression of metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) through microbiota‐host interaction. However, the beneficial role of commensal mycobiota in MASLD progression remains poorly understood.
