Integrated GWAS and transcriptomics in a Canadian waterhemp biotype reveal mesotrione resistance is polygenic and metabolically driven. Significant SNPs and 187 herbicide‐responsive genes point to enhanced redox homeostasis, glutathione‐linked detoxification, lipid/secondary metabolism, and oxidative stress responses. Resistance arises from coordinated,

Coenzyme-Q10 és obesitas kapcsolata
Az obesitas napjaink egyik legnagyobb problémáját jelentő betegsége, mely egyre több embert érint. Napjainkig is rendkívül nehéz feladat az obesitas és kísérő betegségeinek kezelése, ezért folyamatos kutatasok folynak a lehetséges kiváltó okok, illetve ...

Summary We discovered a previously uncharacterized moss‐specific protein, Rosetta NATD‐MAPK 1 (RAK1) in Physcomitrium patens, which uniquely integrates MAP kinase (MAPK)‐dependent signaling with N‐acetyltransferase activity. Through phenotypical and biochemical analyses, we characterized RAK1 function in the regulation of the 2D‐to‐3D growth transition.

THE REGULATION OF ACETYL-COENZYME-A CARBOXYLASE IN RAT LIVER
The rate of phosphorylation and inactivation of rat liver acetyl-CoA carboxylase is controlled by ATP concentration. Maximum phosphorylation of the enzyme is attained in the presence of 0.4 mM ATP. Higher concentrations of ATP inhibit phosphorylation and

L‐malic acid, a natural TCA cycle intermediate, attenuates the virulence of Staphylococcus aureus through dual metabolic and regulatory mechanisms. It redirects central carbon flux away from the mevalonate pathway and inhibits the key enzyme CrtO, suppressing staphyloxanthin biosynthesis and impairing bacterial resistance to oxidative stress ...

Let There be Light! Light as an Engine and Regulator in Synthetic Cells
Cells are out‐of‐equilibrium systems that regulate their spatiotemporal features. In biomimetic synthetic cells, light offers a unique way for energizing and regulating events in space and time. This review explores the implementation of light‐responsive tools in synthetic cells to replicate biological functions and enable new bioinspired behaviors ...
