The OsMYB30-OsADF7 Axis Modulates Rice Heat Acclimation Through Actin Microfilament Dynamics
Actin cytoskeleton is a fundamental cellular structure governing stress signal transduction and cellular homeostasis in plants. While its involvement in heat stress adaptation has been documented, the transcriptional and cytoskeletal regulatory networks ...

On the Assembly of Actin Polymerization‐Powered Motors
Actin polymerization‐powered motors have the highest speed when the actin recruiting‐polymerizing proteins are immobilized in polymer brushes on their surface. These motors orbit around larger tracer particles at pH above the isoelectric point of ActA but dock onto the tracer particles’ surface at lower pH. ABSTRACT Nano‐ and micromotors are a class of

This study develops a tyrosinase‐activated cyclic peptide self‐assembly system to combat drug‐resistant melanoma. Cyclization of tyrosine/lysine‐rich peptides via ortho‐phthalaldehyde enables tyrosinase‐triggered quinone formation and nanostructure assembly, disrupting melanoma cell cytoskeletons by blocking actin polymerization and inducing apoptosis.

CaV1.2 dynamics in native male arterial myocytes
Abstract figure legend Proposed model of microtubule‐dependent CaV1.2 reorganization in vascular disease. Schematic illustration of microtubule‐mediated delivery and stabilization of CaV1.2 channels into enlarged plasma membrane clusters in response to Ang II or hyperglycaemia, promoting cooperative gating and enhanced Ca2+ influx. Abstract L‐type CaV1.

Amino acid homeostasis in the kidney: Physiological roles and pathological dysregulation
Abstract Amino acids are fundamental to life as protein building blocks and key regulators of metabolism and signaling. The kidney plays a critical, yet underappreciated, role in amino acid homeostasis through three interconnected pillars: selective glomerular filtration, efficient tubular reabsorption, and metabolic processing, which includes de novo ...

Characterization of Profilin and Actin Depolymerizing Factors Expression and Function in the Testis [PDF]
The actin cytoskeleton is a structure found in all eukarytes, known to be essential for a wide range of cellular processes. Cytoskeletal dynamics is regulated by a large number of proteins, commonly known as actin-binding proteins. Althgouh the role of actin-binding proteins in somatic cells has been well studied, their function in germ cells remains ...
