Alpha lipoic acid in obstetrics and gynecology

open access: yesGynecological Endocrinology, 2018
Alpha-Lipoic acid (ALA) is a natural antioxidant synthetized by plants and animals, identified as a catalytic agent for oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and α-ketoglutarate.
