Objectives Conventional nodular gastritis has been known to be caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. Several cases of gastric mucosa‐associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma with non‐H. pylori Helicobacters (NHPH) exhibit endoscopic findings resembling nodular gastritis.

Thyroid metastases from neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) should be considered in case of suspicious thyroid nodules in patients with a positive medical history of NEN, mainly of thoracic origin, even after many years from the initial diagnosis.
