Histone Modification Complex JMJ704‐HDA709 Negatively Regulates Salinity Tolerance in Rice
This study reveals that the rice histone demethylase JMJ704 interacts with HDA709―a H3K9ac deacetylase characterized herein―to form a chromatin‐modifying complex. Under salt stress, OsWRKY72 recruits this complex through interaction with JMJ704 to target loci, repressing the expression of oxidative stress and salt‐responsive genes via removal of ...

SDPR–STK38 axis controls the proliferation–differentiation balance in alveolar type II cells
The present study identifies SDPR as a pivotal regulator orchestrating the balance between proliferation and differentiation in alveolar type II (AT2) cells. In SDPR+/+ cells, SDPR binds to and inhibits STK38 activity, thereby sustaining GSK‐3β signaling functionality to promote cyclin D1 degradation and maintain cell cycle homeostasis.

Influence of AT1 Receptor Activity on AT1 and AT2 Receptor Expression During Fetal Life. † 284 [PDF]
The present study was designed to test the hypothesis that an increase in AT1 receptor activity participates in the decline in AT2 mRNA expression associated with fetal maturation (Pediatr Res 38:896904, 1995). To test this hypothesis, we studied eleven pairs of chronically instrumented twin fetal sheep at 95d gestation and seven pairs at 110d ...

ABSTRACT This study examines how firms secure legitimacy in markets where faith‐based expectations and environmental responsibility intersect, focusing on halal–green cosmetics among Muslim women. It conceptualises halal trust and green trust as parallel legitimacy pathways reflecting faith‐based legitimacy and environmental credibility, respectively ...

Cancer, inflammation and the AT1 and AT2 receptors.
The critical role of inappropriate inflammation is becoming accepted in many diseases that affect man, including cardiovascular diseases, inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative conditions, infection and cancer. This review proposes that cancer up-regulates the angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor through systemic oxidative stress and ...
