Automated radiosynthesis of [11C]CPPC for in-human PET imaging applications. [PDF]
The macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R) is almost exclusively expressed in microglia, representing a biomarker target for imaging of microglia availability. [11C]CPPC has specific binding affinity to CSF1R and suitable kinetic properties for in vivo PET imaging of microglia.

Automated radiosynthesis of [18F]CETO, a PET radiotracer for imaging adrenal glands, on Synthra RNplus [PDF]
Primary aldosteronism (PA) is the leading secondary cause of hypertension. Determining whether one (unilateral) or both (bilateral) adrenal glands are the source of PA in a patient remains challenging, and yet it is a critical step in the decision ...

Automated Radiosynthesis, Quality Control, and Biodistribution of Ga-68 Pentixafor: First Indian Experience. [PDF]
Background: Chemokine receptor CXCR4 is overexpressed in more than 27 different human tumors that make it a promising target in oncology. Ga-68 Pentixafor is the most promising positron emission tomography tracer for imaging CXCR4 receptors; hence, the present study was carried out to optimize the radiosynthesis

Copper-Mediated Radiofluorination of the Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter 2 (EAAT2)-Targeted PET Tracer [18F]RP-115: Alternate Synthetic Method. [PDF]
An efficient two‐step radiosynthesis of [18F]RP‐115 was developed using copper‐mediated radiofluorination (CMRF) followed by deprotection. In a total 70‐min synthesis time, this approach provided [18F]RP‐115 in high radiochemical yield (52.8% ± 2.1%, decay corrected from stating [18F]fluoride ion) with high molar activity (355 ± 61 GBq/μmol) and ...

Automation of the Radiosynthesis of Six Different 18F-labeled radiotracers on the AllinOne [PDF]
Fast implementation of positron emission tomography (PET) into clinical and preclinical studies highly demands automated synthesis for the preparation of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a safe and reproducible manner. The aim of this study was to develop automated synthesis methods for these six 18F-labeled radiopharmaceuticals produced on a routine basis ...

Automated One-pot Radiosynthesis of [11C]S-adenosyl Methionine [PDF]
Glycine N-methyltransferase is an enzyme overexpressed in some neoplastic tissues. It catalyses the methylation of glycine using S-adenosyl methionine (SAM or AdoMet) as substrate. SAM is involved in a great variety of biochemical processes, including transmethylation reactions.

Automated microfluidic chip system for radiosynthesis of PET imaging probes [PDF]
Positron emission tomography (PET) is a powerful non-invasive molecular imaging technique for the early detection, characterization, and "real-time" monitoring of disease, and for investigating the efficacy of drugs (Phelps, 2000; Ametamey et al., 2008).
