B Cells Promote Tumor Immunity against B16F10 Melanoma [PDF]

open access: yesThe American Journal of Pathology, 2014
B cells are known to be critical mediators of tumor immunity; however, the mechanisms through which they exert this function remain unclear. B-cell linker protein (BLNK) is an essential component of the B-cell antigen receptor signaling machinery and is required for B-cell development, as evidenced by BLNK-deficient (BLNK(-/-)) mice, in which the ...

A Chemically Defined Four‐Component Self‐Adjuvanting Tn Vaccine Activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 for Enhanced Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.

Characterization of thimet oligopeptidase and neurolysin activities in B16F10-Nex2 tumor cells and their involvement in angiogenesis and tumor growth

open access: yesMolecular Cancer, 2007
Background Angiogenesis is a fundamental process that allows tumor growth by providing nutrients and oxygen to the tumor cells. Beyond the oxygen diffusion limit from a capillary blood vessel, tumor cells become apoptotic.

Echinochrome A Inhibits Melanogenesis in B16F10 Cells by Downregulating CREB Signaling

open access: yesMarine Drugs, 2022
Excessive increase in melanin pigment in the skin can be caused by a variety of environmental factors, including UV radiation, and can result in spots, freckles, and skin cancer. Therefore, it is important to develop functional whitening cosmetic reagents that regulate melanogenesis.

Targeting WDR12 Unleashes T‐Cell‐Mediated Antitumor Activity in Melanoma by Destabilizing CD276

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
WDR12 cooperates with the chaperonin subunit CCT7 to maintain CD276 stability on tumor cells, suppressing T‐cell activity and promoting immune escape. SU14813, a small‐molecule WDR12 inhibitor, reduces CD276 stability and relieves CD276‐mediated T‐cell suppression.

PEX基因对肿瘤细胞生物学性状的影响

open access: yesZhongguo shiyan zhenduanxue, 2005

Cystatin C Peptide Effects on B16F10 Melanoma Cells

open access: yesCellBio, 2021
Background: Metastasis is a major problem for effective therapy of cancer. Small cysteine protease inhibitors, cystatins have been shown to be anti-metastatic for a number of different cancers. We have identified a small peptide of cystatin which exhibits anti-cancer properties for B16 melanoma cells in vitro.

Penfluridol Triggers GSDME‐Mediated Immunogenic Pyroptosis to Potentiate Antitumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐throughput screen of FDA‐approved antipsychotics identifies penfluridol as a potent pyroptosis inducer acting via direct TTI1 inhibition. This triggers TNFA‐NFKB signaling and caspase‐8/‐3‐dependent GSDME cleavage. The compound stimulates antitumor immunity alone and synergizes with anti‐PD‐1 therapy, while low TTI1 expression emerges as a ...

Effects of heavy ions (12C6+) on malignant melanoma B16F10 cells

open access: yesTranslational Cancer Research, 2022
This study aimed to investigate the effects of heavy ion (12C6+) irradiation on the proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle, migration, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of B16F10 cells. The B16F10 cells, which is a malignant melanoma cell line widely used in research, irradiated by 12C6+ and X-ray were detected by Hoechst 33342/propidium iodide ...

Plant Virus Immunotherapy for HPV‐Associated Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
Cowpea mosaic virus (CPMV) nanoparticles are safe and potent cancer immunotherapy candidates with strong immunomodulatory activity. CPMV activates innate immunity, which in turn drives adaptive immune responses and promotes durable, systemic antitumor effects.
