Background Malaria is one of the most devastating infectious diseases in humans, and antimalarial drugs have been used to combat it with minimal success. Worldwide, malaria treatment is threatened by the emergence and spread of artemisinin resistance, which is associated with mutations in the PfK13 propeller domain. In Sub‐saharan Africa, data relating

Recent studies emphasize alternative functions of FTH1 relevant for nuclear processes, such as transcriptional regulation. This study shows a novel FTH1/BRD2 association in non‐small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). This nuclear interaction affects BRD2 protein stability in aggressive NSCLC cells.

SP3 and DEP1 Orchestrate Panicle Architecture by Jointly Regulating APO2 Expression in Rice
The transcription factor SP3 enhances inflorescence meristem activity and interacts with the cysteine‐rich domain of DEP1. This interaction alters DEP1's subcellular localization between the plasma membrane and nucleus, and suppresses SP3‐mediated transcriptional activation of APO2.

Case report: Diagnosis of NUT carcinoma of hepatic origin by next-generation sequencing
NUT carcinoma is a rare subcategory of squamous cell carcinoma. The latter is primarily characterized by the fusion of the coding sequence NUTM1 on chromosome 15q14 with BRD4 or BRD3, both of which are acetyl-histone binding bromodomains.

Bromodomain and Extraterminal Proteins as Novel Epigenetic Targets for Renal Diseases
Epigenetic mechanisms, especially DNA methylation and histone modifications, are dynamic processes that regulate the gene expression transcriptional program in normal and diseased states. The bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) protein family (BRD2, BRD3,
