Abstract Background Dexmedetomidine infusions are beneficial in anaesthetised endotoxaemic horses when administered concurrent to endotoxin, but post‐conditioning effects are unknown. Objectives To evaluate whether a dexmedetomidine infusion is beneficial in horses administered Escherichia coli O55:B5 lipopolysaccharides (LPS) endotoxin prior to ...

Research progress on the role of inflammatory mediators in the pathogenesis of epilepsy
In the central nervous system, activated immune cells lead to the overproduction of inflammatory mediators through the corresponding signal pathway. Under the stimulation of inflammatory factors, neuroinflammation ultimately occurs. Overexpression of inflammatory mediators and activated immunocytes plays an important role in the emergence and ...

CCL18 does not compete CCL11 for CCR3 binding.
Equilibrium competition binding assay using L1.2/CCR3 transfectants. A) Binding of 125I-CCL18 was competed by an increasing concentration of CCL18 (IC50: 8.86 nM) and CCL11 (IC50: 1.69 nM). One representative experiment out of four is shown.

This review synthesizes epidemiological evidence linking atopic dermatitis to attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder in children, proposes an “inflammation‐itch‐neurobehavioral axis” integrating sleep disruption, neuroendocrine dysregulation, and emerging neuro‐immune circuits, and outlines multidisciplinary management strategies targeting both skin ...

Pathogenic Airway Bacteria and Local Immune Responses During Early‐Life Asthma‐Like Episodes
This study investigates how Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Moraxella catarrhalis associate with airway immune responses during early‐life asthma‐like episodes, and compare these responses between children with and without asthma.

Plasma levels of CCL11, CCL4 and CCL3 in female FM patients with varCCL11 or varCCL4.
A-C, CCL11, CCL4, and CCL3 levels in female healthy controls (Ctrl, n = 48) vs female FM patients with wild type CCL11 (n = 19) or var CCL11 (n = 14). D-F, CCL4, CCL3 and CCL11 levels in female healthy controls (Ctrl, n = 48) vs wild type CCL4 (n = 49 ...
