Integrated Clinical Trial and Molecular Profiling Reveals Immune Drivers of Chronic Hand Eczema
This study performed an unbiased molecular profiling of CHE patients across diverse etiologies to identify shared pathogenic drivers and evaluate the impact of IL‐4Rα blockade via dupilumab over 16 weeks. CHE shows a mixed immune signature involving type 1, 2, and 3 pathways with features of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

IL‐33 induces inflammatory gene signatures in eosinophils, characterised by the upregulation of cell surface markers, inflammatory mediators and regulatory factors, all of which were also observed in nasal polyp‐derived eosinophils. Ox‐LDL and complement fragments (C3a and C5a) promote eosinophil adhesion and survival.

The Role of Inflammation in Infant Colic—A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis
ABSTRACT Aim Despite being a self‐limiting condition, infant colic is associated with negative consequences for caregivers and infants. Gut inflammation is hypothesised as a contributing factor. We collected and meta‐analysed the most recent evidence on the association between infant colic and gut inflammation.

Background and Purpose The pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)‐induced cardiomyopathy involves cardiac fibrosis that leads to diastolic dysfunction. We established that replacement of lost substance P (SP) that occurs in T2DM reduces cardiac fibrosis and decreases inflammation in T2DM mice and non‐human primates.

Macrophage‐specific Scd1 deletion accelerates colon cancer progression by suppressing the Hippo‐YAP pathway, which drives immunosuppressive M2 polarization and induces CD8+ T cell exhaustion. Pharmacological YAP activation with TT‐10 effectively reverses this microenvironment, highlighting a promising target for immunotherapy. ABSTRACT In colon cancer (
