The Not4 E3 ligase and CCR4 deadenylase play distinct roles in protein quality control. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
Eukaryotic cells control their proteome by regulating protein production and protein clearance. Protein production is determined to a large extent by mRNA levels, whereas protein degradation depends mostly upon the proteasome.

Cellular Mechanism and Key Insights in Allergen Immunotherapy for Allergic Rhinitis

open access: yesWorld Journal of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Allergic rhinitis (AR) arises from immune responses mediated by immunoglobulin E (IgE) to inhaled allergens, representing one of the most prevalent chronic conditions worldwide. Although AR may not be a serious ailment, it holds clinical relevance as it underpins numerous complications, serves as a major risk factor for suboptimal asthma ...

Distribution of chemokine receptor CCR4+CCR6, CCR4CCR6+ and CCR4+CCR6+ subpopulations of CD4+ T lymphocytes. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
(A) PBMCs were stained with anti-CD4 PE-cy7, anti-CCR4 PE, anti-CCR6 APC and anti-IL-17 FITC. CD4+ T cells were gated for further analysis. (B) The proportion (%) of CCR4+CCR6–/CD4+ T cells (C) CCR4–CCR6+/CD4+ T cells (D) CCR4+CCR6+/CD4+ T cells in each ...

Aberrant CCR4 expression is involved in tumor invasion of lymph node-negative human gastric cancer. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Cellular chemotaxis is the best-known function of chemokine receptors which are closely linked with tumor metastasis. In fact, positive expression of chemokine receptors could also be identified even in some patients without metastatic tumors, while the ...

Update on Non‐Biological and RNA‐Based Therapeutics in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: Precision Medicine Through Small Molecules: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

Structural studies of the complex CCR4-NOT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Le recyclage des ARN débute par un étape de déadenylation ou la queue poly (A) est enzymatiquement clivée. La deadenylation est l’étape limitante dans le processus de dégradation des ARN.

Distinct expression patterns of CCR4 in human gastric cancer. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Green fluorescence represents positive cells with membrane and cytoplasmic distribution of CK, red fluorescence represents CCR4-positive cells, whereas yellow represents the merge of both.

CCR4 Controls the Suppressive Effects of Regulatory T Cells on Early and Late Events during Severe Sepsis. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Sepsis is a deadly disease characterized by an overwhelming release of inflammatory mediators and the activation of different types of cells. This altered state of cell activation, termed leukocyte reprogramming, contributes to patient outcome.

Autosomal Dominant Hyper‐IgE Syndrome Patients Retain IL10‐Producing preTh17‐Cells That Are Activated by Opportunistic Pathogens and Support IgE Production

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
IL‐10 producing CCR6+Th‐cells are central memory T‐cells that express ROR‐γt and differentiate to Th17‐cells via an autocrine loop of STAT3‐activating cytokines (preTh17). STAT3‐deficient AD‐HIES patients lack Th17‐ and Tfh17‐cells but retain preTh17‐ and Th1/17‐cells.

Increased CCR4 Expression in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Chemokines are critical molecules in leukocyte trafficking, promoting site-specific migration to various tissues. The chemokine receptor CCR4 has recently been associated with skin-homing T cells.
