Pathogenesis of Vitiligo: Integrating Immune and Non‐Immune Cell Crosstalk

open access: yesThe Journal of Dermatology, Volume 53, Issue 2, Page 188-199, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Vitiligo is an acquired autoimmune disease characterized by depigmented macules resulting from melanocyte loss. It is a complex multifactorial disorder in which genetic predisposition is combined with environmental factors; however, its detailed etiology remains unclear.

Deciphering the Transcriptomic Signatures of Aging Across Organs in Mice

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 2, February 2026.
Comprehensive transcriptomic profiling of eight mouse organs across six ages reveals how aging reshapes biological processes. Trajectory and network analyses distinguish shared and organ‐specific signatures, charting the molecular landscape of systemic aging.

Proximal Pulmonary Artery Stiffening as a Biomarker of Cardiopulmonary Aging

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 2, February 2026.
Mouse models revealed age‐associated increased circumferential stiffness of the proximal pulmonary artery that was associated with reorientation of collagen and decreased function of the lung and right ventricle. Age‐related transcriptional changes were indicative of senescence, ECM turnover, TGFβ signaling, and altered intercellular signaling among ...

Distinct Roles of IL‐4, IL‐13, and IL‐22 in Human Skin Barrier Dysfunction and Atopic Dermatitis

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 81, Issue 2, Page 480-497, February 2026.
This study reports the distinct effects of IL‐4, IL‐13, and IL‐22 on bio‐stabilized human skin with intact barriers and immune cells. IL‐4, IL‐13, and IL‐22 upregulate inflammatory mediators, disrupt skin barrier integrity, and reciprocally modulate IL‐4Rα and IL‐22Rα1 receptors.

Pulmonary Vascular Endothelial Cells in Lung Diseases: Mechanisms, Therapeutic Strategies, and Future Directions

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 2, February 2026.
The pathogenic mechanisms of pulmonary vascular endothelial cells (VECs) in lung diseases and their multimodal therapeutic strategies. ABSTRACT Pulmonary vascular endothelial cells (VECs) are essential for the normal function of the lung, through maintaining vascular barrier integrity, regulating blood flow, and participating in inflammatory responses ...
