Numerous circRNAs have been identified in different organisms, but little attention has been addressed on fungal circRNAs. Here, we identified a total of 8,848 circRNAs from the model plant pathogenic fungus M. oryzae. 5,840 circRNAs were identified from

circRMST (hsa_circ_0099634) is by far the most abundant isoform from the RMST locus. It is highly expressed in cancer cells throughout ependymoma patient samples and is located in the cytoplasm. circRMST knockdown causes cell cycle arrest and induces differentiation, and it is a marker for poor prognosis. The figure is made using BioRender.

Genome-Wide Identification of Circular RNAs in Arabidopsis thaliana
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a family of transcripts with covalently closed circular structures and still largely unknown functions. Large numbers of circRNAs have been found in various biological processes in humans and animals, but fewer circRNAs have ...

Optimal Translation Along a Circular mRNA
The ribosome flow model on a ring (RFMR) is a deterministic model for translation of a circularized mRNA. We derive a new spectral representation for the optimal steady-state production rate and the corresponding optimal steady-state ribosomal density in

Energy, macronutrients and laryngeal cancer risk [PDF]
BACKGROUND: A role for diet in laryngeal carcinogenesis has been suggested, but only a few studies have examined the potential relationship with a wide variety of macronutrients.

Targeting the microbiota‐miRNA‐protease axis: A new therapeutic avenue in melanoma
Modulation of extracellular matrix (ECM) turnover is central to melanoma progression and metastasis, driven largely by ECM proteases. This review highlights the epigenetic regulation of ECM proteases by microRNAs and their roles in melanoma growth, invasion, and immune modulation.

Circular RNAs in diabetes mellitus and its complications: a systematic review and in silico analyses
Introduction: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have garnered attention as potential biomarkers for diabetes mellitus (DM) and its complications due to their stability and presence in various tissues and plasma.

Research Progress of Circular RNA and Protein Ubiquitination Modification in Cancer
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of noncoding RNA molecules with a covalently enclosed circular structure and are more stable than linear RNAs. CircRNAs possess unique characteristics and biological functions, playing key roles in the occurrence and ...

Direct circRNA-mRNA Binding Controls mRNA Fate: A New Mechanism for circRNAs
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are covalently closed RNA molecules generated through a non-canonical splicing event known as back-splicing. This particular class of non-coding RNAs has attracted growing interest due to its evolutionary conservation across eukaryotes, high expression in the central nervous system, and frequent dysregulation in various ...
