Flavonoid Glycosides in Citrus Fruits Peelings
As one of the studies on physiological acitive substances in citrus peel, the present paper describes structures and hypotensive effects of flavonoid glycosides on zabon, grapefruit and hassaku peels. Five flavonoid glycosides were isolated and their structures were established as 6, 8-di-C-glucosylapigenin (1), 3, 8-di-C-glucosylapigenin (2 ...

A sprayable POE‐based sorbent formulated with a green solvent blend of α‐pinene, D‐limonene, and p‐cymene enables rapid in situ film formation via solvent evaporation, allowing efficient pollutant capture. The system exhibits high oil uptake (37.3 g g−1) and effectively removes up to 60 mL of VLSFO under simulated marine spill conditions.

The underutilized parts viz: pawpaw seed, banana, plantain, and potato peels showed promising antioxidant and inhibition of α‐amylase and α‐glucosidase activities (IC50 values ≤ 100 μg/mL). Similarly, pawpaw seed, banana, plantain, and potato peels reduced postprandial hyperglycemia in sucrose‐ and maltose‐induced hyperglycemia in rats.
