Diagrammatic scale for blister spot in leaves of coffee tree [PDF]

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Agricultural Research, 2015
Blister Spot is a disease transmitted through seeds. This characteristic of the disease reveals the studies of severity can offer more replies than the studies of incidence. Due to the inexistence of standardized for visual quantification of the Blister Spot’s severity, the aim of this work was to build up and validate a diagrammatic scale for ...

Nanoporous Microelectrodes for Neural Electrophysiology Recordings in Organotypic Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The highly porous microelectrodes have been designed and printed on culture membranes, allowing to record electrophysiological neural activity for rodent brain slices. To keep the biocompatible nanoporous structure, the microelectrodes and insulative layer are fabricated on the bottom of culture membranes with only small connector pads added on the top.

CORRELATIONS BETWEEN SPAD READINGS, CHLOROPHYLL AND LEAF NITROGEN IN COFFEE CULTIVARS DURING FRUITING STAGE

open access: yesAgrarian, 2017
The methods currently used to determine the chlorophyll content and the amount of nitrogen present in leaves takes a long time to work, as well as the collection and destruction of the leaf tissues.

Identification of Colletotrichum species associated with anthracnose disease of coffee in Vietnam [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, C. acutatum, C. capsici and C. boninense associated with anthracnose disease on coffee (Coffea spp.) in Vietnam were identified based on morphology and DNA analysis. Phylogenetic analysis of DNA sequences from the internal

Effects of processing method and age of leaves on phytochemical profiles and bioactivity of coffee leaves

open access: yesFood Chemistry, 2018
The use of coffee leaves as a novel beverage has recently received consumer interest, but there is little known about how processing methods affect the quality of final product. We applied tea (white, green, oolong and black tea) processing methods to process coffee leaves and then investigated their effects on phytochemical composition and related ...

Biohybrid Actuators in Compact Arrangement with Embedded X Electrode

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Selective control of multimuscle biohybrid actuators is crucial for achieving complex movements of biohybrid robots. In this study, embedded X electrodes are fabricated to selectively control multiple muscles, realizing the robotic finger's bidirectional movements.

Leaf anatomy related to photosynthetic pathway in coffee trees (Coffea arabica L.,var. Caturra Rojo) exposed to different solar radiation levels at Sierra Maestra, Granma, Cuba

open access: yesActa Agronómica, 2016
A field experiment was conducted in order to investigate the effect of different solar exposition levels (open sunlight, regulated shade, and no regulated shade) on leaves anatomy of coffee trees (Coffea Arabica L. Var.

Mechanisms of pathogenic transmission in agroforests: the role of leaf functional traits in shade coffee systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Coffee leaf rust (CLR), a pathogenic disease that results in premature leaf fall and significant yield loss, has become a major concern in coffee-growing regions, especially in Central and South America, after recent intense epidemics.

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.
