Beyond Bia Hơi? Distinction and Aspiration in Hanoi's Craft Beer Scene
ABSTRACT In this article we examine the emergence of Hanoi's craft beer scene as a window into shifting class identities, aspirational consumption, and local–global negotiations in contemporary Vietnam. Factors affecting early plant survival in restoration of Mediterranean‐type climate shrublands
We undertook post‐fire restoration in southern California's shrubland with some portion of plants receiving supplemental irrigation. After 2.5 years survival was higher in California sage scrub (CSS) versus chaparral species and only slightly higher in irrigated individuals.

Abstract We develop new datasets of monthly grain prices in 14 urban markets and of the storage and marketing of grain by 5 rural estates located in western Germany between the late seventeenth century and c. 1860. We explore whether observed patterns of monthly prices, sales, and storage of grain are consistent with the rational competitive storage ...

Seed-setting habit of a semidwarf common buckwheat line
The seed-setting habit of a semidwarf common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentumMoench) line was evaluated in a field experiment under standardand high nitrogen levels. The ‘semidwarf line’ and ‘Kitawasesoba’were used in the present study. The main stem length of the ‘semidwarf line’ was approximately two thirds of that of the ‘Kitawasesoba’.Minimal ...

MYB Factors: Hubs of Plant Stress and Hormone Crosstalk
ABSTRACT MYB transcription factors function as main regulatory hubs that integrate environmental signals with multi‐hormonal pathways to synchronize plant growth, metabolism and stress responses. This review delineates the regulatory roles of MYB in the signalling pathway of salicylic acid, jasmonic acid, ethylene and abscisic acid signalling.
