Effect of delphinidin on bone loss in RANKL-induced osteoporosis mice.
A: Representative X-ray and microcomputed tomography images of the distal femurs of intact mice (control), RANKL-induced osteoporosis mice (vehicle), and delphinidin-treated RANKL-induced osteoporosis mice (Delphinidin).

Delphinidin reduces cell proliferation and induces apoptosis of non-small-cell lung cancer cells by targeting EGFR/VEGFR2 signaling pathways. [PDF]
Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2) have emerged as two effective clinical targets for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Solubility of Delphinidin in Water and Various Organic Solvents between (298.15 and 343.15) K [PDF]
The solubilities of 2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)chromenylium-3,5,7-triol (delphinidin) in water, methanol, ethanol, and acetone have been measured spectrophotometrically at various temperatures ranging from (298 to 343) K under atmospheric pressure ...

Delphinidin alters VEGF-A splicing to increase VEGF-A165b and decrease total VEGF-A expression.
A) Treatment of podocytes with delphinidin chloride (10 μg/ml) under normal glucose (NG; 5 mM glucose + 25 mM mannitol) and high glucose (HG; 30 mM glucose, 1 ng/ml TNFα, 1 ng/ml IL-6, and 100 nM insulin) for 48 hrs increased the protein expression of ...

Theoretical Investigation of Antiradical Activity of Delphinidin
Delphinidin, one of the natural anthocyanin pigments was theoretically (at M05-2X/6-311+G(d,p) level of theory) investigated for its ability scavange potentially highly damaging hydroxyl and superoxide anion radicals. Theoretical calculations point to HAT and SPLET mechanisms as operative for delphinidin in all solvents under investigations.
