GASTROPROTECTIVE PROPERTIES OF METAPROT AND DIOSMIN
Intragastric administration of acetylsalicylic acid induces development of NSAID-gastropathy in animals. The number of ulcers and the total area of erosive injury in the mucous membrane are studied. Antioxidants/antihypoxants metaprot in a daily dose of 50 mg/kg and diosmin in a daily dose of 100 mg/kg render gastroprotective action.

Dietary anthocyanidin pelargonidin activates G protein‐coupled receptor 35
Pelargonidin, a red‐fruit‐derived anthocyanidin, was newly identified as a dietary agonist of GPR35, a metabolite‐sensing GPCR implicated in anti‐inflammation. Through screening of dietary compounds, pelargonidin emerged as a potent GPR35 agonist, attenuating inflammation in human intestinal cells.
