15R‐ and 15S‐lipoxygenases (15R‐ and 15S‐LOXs) were engineered into 18R‐ and 18S‐LOXs, respectively. Escherichia coli expressing these enzymes converted eicosapentaenoic acid into 18R‐ and 18S‐hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acids (18R‐ and 18S‐HEPEs), respectively.

Automated system of tubular filtration for rotifer production
Abstract This study developed an automated filtration system for a selected rotifer, Brachionus ibericus. This system is controlled by a programmable logic controller, and it enables the high‐density cultivation of marine rotifers and the selection of rotifers for palatability.
