Dual‐Targeted Trimyristin Nanoemulgel Accelerates Burn Wound Healing via VEGFR and FGFR Modulation [PDF]

open access: yesChem Biodivers
The graphical abstract encapsulates the formulation of a trimyristin‐loaded O/W nanoemulgel and its dual‐targeted mechanism for burn wound healing. Trimyristin had significant affinity for VEGFR and FGFR, promoting angiogenesis, collagen production, and re‐epithelialization, while inhibiting inflammation and oxidative stress, so expediting tissue ...

Covalent drug discovery: Progress against key targets, emerging strategies and lessons learnt

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 22, Page 6574-6606, November 2026.
Abstract Covalent drug discovery is currently experiencing a boom in industrial and academic interest. To date, at least 75 covalent drugs have received regulatory approval, targeting both traditional target classes and more challenging proteins for which other approaches failed. In many cases, unique aspects of covalent targeting are essential for the

Dilution‐Driven Regulation of Biostimulatory Signaling in Calcium Hydroxylapatite–PRGF Systems: Implications for Early Dermal Remodeling

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)‐based fillers act as both volumizing agents and bioactive scaffolds capable of inducing matrix synthesis and dermal remodeling. Their rheological properties and biological activity can be modulated via dilution strategies, expanding their applicability in regenerative and aesthetic medicine.

Early‐Life Betaine Supplementation Drives Sex‐Specific Metabolic Programming in Rats, Affecting FGF21 Signaling and Energy Balance

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 20, 31 October 2026.
A maternal western diet (WD) and betaine supplementation during suckling influence metabolic programming. A maternal WD induced adverse metabolic effects in offspring, accompanied by altered FGF21‐related gene expression and decreased Akkermansia muciniphila abundance.

Efficacy and safety of selective pan-fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors in FGFR-altered urothelial carcinoma

open access: yes
Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) alteration is one of the common driver alterations in urothelial carcinoma (UC). FGFR alterations contribute to anti-tumor immunity inhibition and are associated with attenuated response to immune checkpoint ...

Unraveling the epigenetic code in cancer cell–tumor microenvironment crosstalk

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 10, Page 2510-2532, October 2026.
Epigenetic regulation is a key driver of cancer development and progression. Diverse epigenetic alterations in cancer cells and components of the tumor microenvironment (TME) orchestrate their communication through multiple mechanisms. We discuss how the epigenetic code coordinates bidirectional cancer cell–TME crosstalk to promote cancer progression ...

Pasta, a Versatile Transcriptomic Clock, Maps the Chemical and Genetic Determinants of Aging and Rejuvenation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 57, 14 October 2026.
Pasta is a transcriptomic aging clock built on an age‐shift learning framework and trained on 17 000 samples across 21 datasets. It accurately predicts relative biological age across tissues, platforms, and species, captures stemness‐to‐senescence transitions, and identifies age‐modulatory perturbations.
