Thiosemicarbazones (TSC) have demonstrated promise as new chemotherapeutic agents against melanoma in both in vitro and In vivo studies. TSC are powerful metal coordinating agents, coordinating transition metal ions such as zinc, copper and iron in multiple oxidation states.
