Gout and NLRP3 Inflammasome Biology

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Volume 77, Issue 10, Page 1317-1326, October 2025.
This review describes the three broad stages of acute inflammation in the context of gout: initiation, leucocyte mobilization, and self‐resolution. A typical case of a gout flare is presented. The role of the NLRP3 inflammasome in acute monosodium urate crystal–induced inflammation is reviewed in detail.

Gasdermin D cysteine residues synergistically control its palmitoylation-mediated membrane targeting and assembly

open access: yesEMBO Journal
Gasdermin D (GSDMD) executes the cell death program of pyroptosis by assembling into oligomers that permeabilize the plasma membrane. Here, by single-molecule imaging, we elucidate the yet unclear mechanism of Gasdermin D pore assembly and the role of ...

Epi‐Immunotherapy in Cancer Treatment: Mechanisms, Clinical Progress, and Future Directions

open access: yesCancer Innovation, Volume 4, Issue 5, October 2025.
Epigenetic regulation of tumor immune evasion and synergistic anticancer strategies via epigenetic‐immunotherapy integration. ABSTRACT Cancer immunotherapy is a groundbreaking therapeutic strategy, yet it continues to face significant challenges, including limited overall response rates and treatment resistance.

LAG3 as a Tumor Suppressor and Immune Regulator in Cervical Cancer: From Functional Validation to Therapeutic Strategy

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 19, October 2025.
Studies have found that the molecular typing of pyroptostic‐related genes (PRGs) in cervical cancer can predict prognosis, and the GNAZ/LAG3/IL1B/CA2/SPRR3 risk scoring model has been constructed. Experiments have confirmed that LAG3 inhibits tumor progression by regulating Treg and CD8+ T cells, providing a new target for immunotherapy.
