gD2-specific cellular immune responses to COR-1.
Responses to gD2 were determined using PBMCs collected at baseline (week 0), after immunisation (week 9), before booster (week 24) and after booster (week 25).

Functional activity of anti-GD2 CAR-T cells with different antigen-recognition module
Neuroblastoma (NB) is the most common extracranial solid tumor in children comprising, 8 to 10% of all pediatric tumors, with incidence of about 1-1.3 cases per 100,000 children under 15 years of age.

Anti-GD2 CAR MSCs against metastatic Ewing's sarcoma [PDF]
Background: Ewing's sarcoma (ES) is an aggressive cancer affecting children and young adults. We pre-clinically demonstrated that mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs) can deliver tumour necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) against ...

Frequency of ALK and GD2 Expression in Neuroblastoma
Background: The aim of this study was to elucidate the significance of immunohistochemical staining patterns of ALK and GD2 in peripheral neuroblastic tumors with different stages and favorable/unfavorable features. Materials and methods: 32 neuroblastomas, 7 ganglioneuroblastomas, and 1 ganglioneuroma cases were immunohistochemically stained with ALK ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Targeting disialoganglioside GD2 with chimeric antigen receptor-redirected T cells in lung cancer
International audienceBackground We explored whether the disialoganglioside GD2 (GD2) is expressed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-SCLC (NSCLC) and can be targeted by GD2-specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells.

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.
