KIR genotyping by reverse sequence‐specific oligonucleotide methodology

Tissue Antigens, 2007
AbstractRecent studies suggest that killer cell immunoglobulin‐like receptors (KIR) genotyping may be relevant to bone marrow/stem cell transplantation. The objective of this research was to develop a bead‐based reverse sequence‐specific oligonucleotide DNA hybridization assay for KIR genotyping using the Luminex® platform.

Genotyping of octoploid strawberry inbred lines by SNP discovery using genotyping-by-sequencing

Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology, 2018
The ‘common’ strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) is a popular fruit in Korea and is often consumed fresh. Polyploidy is common in horticultural crops, and Fragaria × ananassa is octoploid, having 8 sets of each chromosome; however, the molecular genetic information of octoploid strawberry is still insufficient to develop effective markers for agronomic ...

Genotyping by sequencing for SNP marker development in onion

Genome, 2020
Onion (Allium cepa) is not highly tractable for development of molecular markers due to its large (16 gigabases per 1C) nuclear genome. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are useful for genetic characterization and marker-aided selection of onion because of codominance and common occurrence in elite germplasm. We completed genotyping by sequencing

ABO genotyping by PCR-direct sequencing.

Nihon hoigaku zasshi = The Japanese journal of legal medicine, 1997
The PCR-direct sequence method was applied to ABO genotyping. At the 261st nucleotide of the genes of A and B glycosyltrasferase, it was easily detected that the nucleotide was guanine in AA, AB and BB genotypes and that the nucleotide was ademine in only OO.

ABO genotyping by PCR-RFLP and cloning and sequencing

Anthropologischer Anzeiger, 2004
A refined PCR-RFLP based method was established to genotype ABO blood groups. The main objective of this study was to make the techniques also suitable for working with degraded DNA. Specific primer design was carried out to choose fragments shorter than 200 bp as necessary in forensic and archaeological applications.

[ABO genotyping by PCR-direct sequencing method].

Zhonghua yi xue yi chuan xue za zhi = Zhonghua yixue yichuanxue zazhi = Chinese journal of medical genetics, 2001
To analyze the sequence difference between human A, B, and O alleles and establish the method of ABO genotyping by PCR direct sequencing.PCR-direct sequencing technique was used to analyze two regions of cDNA from A transferase gene, 233-433 and 660-788.Two nucleotide substitutions at 258th and 297th were found in 233-433 region, and a nucleotide ...
