On Serine Octamer Substitution Reactions

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, Volume 40, Issue 23, 15 December 2026.
ABSTRACT Rationale Monomeric amino acids substitute into the ionized serine octamer (Ser8), a magic number cluster that exhibits chiral behavior. Small biomolecules, such as amino acids (AA), substitute into the octamer enantioselectively, giving Ser7AAH+ and Ser6AA2H+ favoring clusters of all L‐ or all D‐chirality.

Generative AI and Learning Dynamics in Higher Education: A Longitudinal Empirical Study

open access: yesJournal of Computer Assisted Learning, Volume 42, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT are increasingly integrated into higher education. Empirical evidence on how they shape learning dynamics over time remains limited. Previous studies have often examined single learning outcomes, neglecting the interplay between cognitive, motivational, and metacognitive processes that evolve ...

A world view: Considerations of sociocultural diversity in the study of subjective cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) refers to cognitive concerns that may occur with or without objective impairment on standardized testing.
