Inverting CEST or R1ρ$$ {R}_{1\uprho} $$ data to generate solute spectra without a priori assumptions

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose The goal of CEST imaging is to reveal the underlying tissue composition and exchange. However, quantitative CEST analyses typically require strong assumptions about this same composition and exchange. The goal of this paper is to introduce a new CEST analysis (also applicable to rotating frame relaxation rate R1ρ$$ {R}_{1\uprho ...

Quantification of Tryptophan and NAD+ Proton Magnetization Exchange With Water Using Downfield 1H MRS in the Human Brain at 7 T

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of magnetization exchange on the measurement of tryptophan and NAD+ T1 relaxation times and to determine the magnetization exchange rates with a two‐spin system model using downfield 1H MRS spectroscopy at 7 T in human brain.

Electrosprayed PLA/Spirulina Hybrid Microparticles for Enhanced Dermal Delivery on HUVEC and HaCaT Cell Lines of Niacinamide and Palmitoyl‐Tripeptide‐1

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
Hybrid Delivery System: Electrosprayed poly(lactic acid)/Spirulina hybrid microparticles simultaneously deliver hydrophilic and amphiphilic actives to skin cells. The platform achieves efficient, cell‐specific uptake, marked dose‐sparing effects, and excellent biocompatibility. The PLA/Spirulina carrier enhances wound healing.
