Potential Protective Role Exerted by Secoiridoids from Olea europaea L. in Cancer, Cardiovascular, Neurodegenerative, Aging-Related, and Immunoinflammatory Diseases [PDF]
Iridoids, which have beneficial health properties, include a wide group of cyclopentane [c] pyran monoterpenoids present in plants and insects. The cleavage of the cyclopentane ring leads to secoiridoids.

GPER: geographic power efficient routing in sensor networks [PDF]
This work presents a new geographical power efficient routing (GPER) protocol for sensor networks. Each sensor node makes local decisions as to how far to transmit: therefore, the protocol is power efficient, highly distributed and scalable. In GPER, given a final destination, each node first establishes a sub-destination within its maximum radio range.
