Expression of HBsAg and HBsAg in liver tissue, correlation with disease activity

open access: yes, 1992
The pattems of Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and Hepatitis B core antigen (HBcAg) expression were studied in liver biopsies taken from 41 patients with chronic HBV disease. Immunohistochemical methods were used on deparaffinized sections for the identification of HBsAg and HBcAg in liver tissue. lkenty-one of the 41 cases (5 1.2%) were classified

Evaluation of Discrepant Infectious Disease Results in Deceased Organ Donors: Insights from a Retrospective Analysis of Post‐Policy Testing

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
Organ Procurement Transplant Network Policy 2.9.2 requires repeat testing of deceased donors if the donation has not proceeded within 96‐h after the infectious disease screening was initially performed. Development and Validation of a Clinlabomics‐Based Nomogram for Predicting the Prognosis of Small Cell Lung Cancer in China: A Multicenter, Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 17, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Background and Objective Small cell lung cancer has a high incidence and mortality rate, frequently metastasizes, and is associated with a poor prognosis. However, traditional prognostic models based on stage alone cannot meet clinical needs. This study aims to establish a clinlabomics‐based, highly accessible prognostic model for small cell ...

Refining Prognosis and Treatment Strategies Beyond the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer Stage in Hepatocellular Carcinoma with Lung Metastases: A Multicenter Cohort Study

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 9, September 2025.
This multicenter cohort study revealed that lung metastasis worsens prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma. However, selected patients with early‐stage intrahepatic tumors benefit from hepatectomy or RFA, achieving outcomes comparable to nonmetastatic cases. Combination therapy with TKIs and ICIs further improves survival.
