Determination of T-2 Toxin and HT-2 Toxin in Milk: A Comparison of Three Formats of Immunoassays
Analytical Letters, 2012This research paper presents a comparative study of three formats of immunoassays, including conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), one-step ELISA, and reverse enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (reELISA), for the determination of T-2 toxin (T-2) and HT-2 toxin (HT-2).

The influence of solvent, storage time and temperature on the stability of the trichothecene mycotoxins T-2 toxin (T-2), HT-2 toxin (HT-2), deoxynivalenol (DON) and nivalenol (NIV) was investigated. Toxins in acetonitrile, ethyl acetate or as thin film were stored in sealed glass ampoules at -18, 4, 25 and 40 degrees C for up to 24 months. Samples were

The selective enzymatic deacetylation of T-2 toxin to give HT-2 toxin has been investigated in aqueous crude extracts of different cereals and exploited to develop an analytical method for the determination of the sum of T-2 and HT-2 toxins. The method has been validated for the analysis of total T-2 and HT-2 toxins in maize, wheat, and oats, showing ...

Determination of T-2 and HT-2 toxins in food and feed: an update
World Mycotoxin Journal, 2014Based on the recent scientific opinion of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Panel on Contaminants in the Food Chain on the risks to human and animal health related to the presence of T-2 and HT-2 toxins in food and feed that was published by EFSA in the EFSA Journal, this article provides an update on the determination of these Fusarium ...

HT-2 toxin and T-2 toxin in commercial cereal processing in the United Kingdom, 2004-2007
World Mycotoxin Journal, 2009Legislation for mycotoxins in the European Union is being considered for T-2 toxin (T-2) and HT-2 toxin (HT-2). A four-year study on the fate of Fusarium mycotoxins in commercial milling and processing of cereals examined the incidence and concentrations of T-2 and HT-2 in wheat, oats and maize at intake to United Kingdom mills and during subsequent ...

The pharmacokinetics of T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin were investigated comparatively in five dogs, after iv administration of the toxins (0.4 mg/kg). T-2 toxin was very rapidly and almost completely biotransformed to HT-2 toxin (fm = 83.6 +/- 3.9%). The following mean pharmacokinetic parameters were determined in this study for T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin ...

T-2 and HT-2 toxins in oat flakes: development of a certified reference material
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2014Trichothecene mycotoxins, with T-2 and HT-2 toxins being the main representatives of the type A subgroup, are naturally and worldwide occurring contaminants frequently found in grain-based food and feed. Due to the high consumption of these products and the potential health risk associated herewith, concerns about the safety and quality of food and ...

T-2 and HT-2 toxins in cereals and cereal-based products in South Korea
Food Additives and Contaminants: Part B, 2013A total of 214 samples, consisting of brown rice, barley, mixed grains, corn, wheat and wheat flour were analysed for T-2 and HT-2 toxins using high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Recovery and repeatability were 79.9%-107.5% and 4.9%-14.5% for T-2, and 74.0%-106.1% and 5.0%-17.9% for HT-2, respectively.

Antibody against ht-2 toxin-ht-2 toxin antibody complex
The present invention relates to a binding partner, in particular an antibody fragment recognizing an antigen-antibody immunocomplex between anti-HT-2 toxin and HT-2. A non-competitive immunoassay may be carried out using the binding partner of the present invention. A test kit and method comprising the binding partner are disclosed.Patent family as ofArola, Henri +2 more
