Cloning and bioinformatics analysis of PDC genes from Hylocereus undatus [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2018
The cDNA of PDC1 and PDC2 were amplified from the seedling of Hylocereus undatus ‘Guangming 2’ by the technique of RACE (rapid amplification of cDNA ends). The PDC1 and PDC2 had a length of 1191bp and 2046 bp, and an open reading frame that encoded a protein of 351 and 604 amino acids, respectively.

Integrated Multidimensional Evaluation of Postharvest Quality and Physiopathologies in Seasonal Tropical Fruits: Linking Physicochemical, Sensorial, and Economic Loss Parameters

open access: yesInternational Journal of Agronomy, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Tropical regions exhibit remarkable environmental variability, resulting in high biodiversity and numerous fruit species with considerable nutritional and commercial potential. Despite this richness, many tropical fruits remain underexplored, particularly regarding their postharvest quality, phytosanitary status, and consumer perception.

Optimization of Cold Plasma Treatment for Aspergillus niger Decontamination in Dried Apricots (Prunus armeniaca)

open access: yesJournal of Food Processing and Preservation, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Dried apricots are highly susceptible to fungal contamination, particularly by Aspergillus niger, posing serious concerns for food safety and shelf life. This study is the first to systematically evaluate and optimize cold plasma treatment (CPT) parameters for the decontamination of A. niger in dried apricot samples (DASs).
