Ternary Molecular Co‐Assembling Heterogeneous Membranes for High‐Efficiency and Anti‐Biofouling Osmotic Energy Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new strategy based on ternary molecular co‐assembly for the facile construction of nanofluidic membranes is presented. The membrane exhibits asymmetric nanochannels that facilitate anion‐selective transport, achieving an osmotic energy harvesting performance of 16.6 W·m−2 and a superior anti‐biofouling activity in natural waters.

High‐Throughput MicroED for Probing Ion Channel Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐throughput MicroED offers a new approach for visualizing ion channel dynamics. This approach reveals NaK’s sodium binding modes and NaK2CNG’s potassium‐induced selectivity filter dilation and gating. By capturing these distinct structures, this work challenges traditional models of ion channel permeation and selectivity. Abstract Ion channels play

Inhalable Artificial Polymeric Nucleases Degrading Neutrophil Extracellular Trap‐DNAs and Alleviating Pulmonary Fibrosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is promoted by NETs that induce fibroblast activation. PEG‐PIm, a polymeric artificial DNase is reported that efficiently degrades NET‐DNA via phosphodiester bond hydrolysis. Inhalation of PEG‐PIm in a mouse PF model prevents fibroblast activation and fibrosis progression, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for NET ...
