Iridoid and seco-iridoid glucosides from Chioccoca alba (Rubiaceae)

Phytochemistry, 1999
Phytochemical investigation of Chioccoca alba afforded three new iridoids, alboside I, alboside II and alboside III, and a new seco-iridoid alboside V. Alboside IV showed moderate activity towards the DNA repair-deficient mutant RS321 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Iridoids fromTeucrium yemense

Archives of Pharmacal Research, 1998
The aerial parts of Teucrium yemense yielded two iridoid glycosides. Their structures were elucidated by spectral means as teucardosid and 8-O-acetylharpagid.

Iridoids From Loasa Acerifolia

Phytochemistry, 1998
In the course of preliminary chemotaxonomic studies on Loasaceae from South and Central America, 30 species from 6 genera were screened by chromatographic means. From the aerial parts of Loasa acerifolia Dombey, the novel trimeric and dimeric iridoid glucosides acerifolioside and tricoloroside methyl ester, consisting of loganin and secoxyloganin ...

Iridoide, X: Stereospezifische Synthese von Iridoid‐α‐glucosiden

Chemische Berichte, 1978
Iridoids, X: Stereospecific Synthesis of Iridoid‐α‐glucosidesTreatment of the iridoidaglycone 3 with 1,2‐anhydro‐α‐D‐glucopyranose triacetate (Brigls anhydride, 4) in the presence of a trace of boron trifluoride/ether led stereospecifically to the α‐glucosides 7, 8, and 9, with 38% yield. In an analogous reaction 10 was formed from 2.

Iridoids from Pentas lanceolata

Journal of Natural Products, 2007
From the aerial parts of Pentas lanceolata, belonging to the family Rubiaceae, a series of iridoid glucosides was isolated by preparative HPLC. Seven iridoid glucosides were identified. Besides asperuloside and asperulosidic acid, characteristic iridoids for Rubiaceae, five new iridoids were isolated, namely, tudoside (1), 13R-epi-gaertneroside (2 ...

Iridoids of Rauwolfia grandiflora☆

Phytochemistry, 1994
Abstract From the bark of Rauwolfia grandiflora a new monoterpenoid δ-lactone, isoboonein, was isolated together with boonein, loganin and loganic acid. The structure of isoboonein, established by spectroscopical methods, was confirmed by partial synthesis from loganic acid.

Iridoids from Lippia graveolens

Phytochemistry, 1998
An investigation of the leaves of Lippia graveolens from Guatemala provided 10 iridoid and secoiridoid glucosides as well as their ester derivatives. Minor constituents were loganin, secologanin, secoxyloganin, dimethylsecologanoside, loganic acid, 8-epi-loganic acid and caryoptoside.

Iridoids from Dunnia sinensis

Phytochemistry, 2000
A plumieride type iridoid glucoside, dunnisinoside, and a non-glucosidic iridoid, dunnisinin, were isolated from the leaves of Dunnia sinensis. Their structures were established by 1D and 2D NMR and FABMS experiments.
