Iridoids, iridoid-triterpenoid congeners and lignans from Desfontainia spinosa
Phytochemistry, 1986Abstract The leaves of Desfontainia spinosa ; were found to contain the three known seco-iridoids secoxyloganin, dimethyl secologanoside and sweroside in addition to the three iridoids loganin, loganetin and loganic acid previously reported. Iridoid compounds fromBoschniakia rossica
Archives of Pharmacal Research, 1999Four iridoid compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Boschniakia rossica by repeated column chromatography. Their structures were determined as boschnaloside (1), boschnarol (2), bosnarol methylether (3), and 7-deoxy 8-epiloganic acid (4), respectively. Compound 2, 3, and 4 were isolated for the first time from this plant.
