Activation of SAPK/JNKs In Vitro
2010The stress-activated protein kinase/c-jun N-terminal kinases (SAPK/JNKs) are mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) that are activated by stressful and inflammatory stimuli and regulate cellular responses such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.

JNK signaling and morphogenesis in Drosophila
Trends in Genetics, 1998The recent focus on Drosophila mutants with a dorsal hole has yielded valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying epithelial movements during development. Dorsal closure, the process affected in these genetically pierced embryos, is controlled by the Drosophila JNK pathway, equivalent to the mammalian stress-activated MAPK pathway.

Science of Aging Knowledge Environment, 2005
Only a masochist would choose a life of stress and starvation, yet organisms can last unusually long if they exploit molecular pathways that respond to these pressures. Now, scientists reveal how one molecule connects two such pathways and lengthens the lives of worms and flies.

[Expressions of JNK and p-JNK in advanced prostate cancer and their clinical implications].
Zhonghua nan ke xue = National journal of andrology, 2018To investigate the expressions of JNK and p-JNK in advanced prostate cancer (PCa) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and their implications.Using immunohistochemistry, we detected the expressions of JNK and p-JNK proteins in 40 cases of paraffin wax-embedded PCa and 21 cases of BPH tissues and analyzed their relationships with advanced PCa and BPH ...
